About

Hola and Hello!

Welcome to my blog! I’m so grateful that you decided to click my link, that led you here and are curious to know what I’m all about. I hope when you read my blogs you understand and are able to connect with me and I hope I am able to be that voice to you.

My name is Vanezza Ramos, I am 30 years old, I currently live in League City, TX and I am a proud Mexican-American. I am a graduate from the University of Houston, I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Communications, broadcast journalism. Ever since I was a little girl, being in front of a camera always excited me, I am not sure were it came from, but I knew I wanted to do something that involved a camera. As I’ve gotten older, I learned the behind the scenes, the work that goes into the front of the camera is just, if not, more important. I knew that I wanted to do big things at a young age, the world made me so curious, I always needed to know EVERYTHING, till this day. I have so many interests in the world, music, movies, social media, news, sports, politics, I always need to know WHY?

I have lived in Houston my entire life, expect the 3 years God took me on a adventure alone and I lived in Dallas, TX. I loved it. It taught me the beauty of being alone, and although it was only 3 years, it was something I needed, something God needed for me to go through.

One of my hobbies is photography. I love capturing love, babies, graduates, kids, & anything else you can name. I never knew photography was something I enjoyed until I had to take a photography class in college. I enjoyed it so much that eventually decided to get my own camera. I currently own a Cannon Rebel T5, it’s one of the oldest version. I am currently in the process of upgrading to the Cannon R6 Mark II and will be starting up my photography business soon. I have been in the photography business, in and out for over 10 years now. I am no professional but one of my favorite things to do is capturing a story that can be documented in one photo or many photos, I love being able to show people beautiful things through my eyes, but in a photography aspect, through my lens. If you want more information on my photography, click my “photography” tab.

Another one my hobbies includes, fitness and strength. Back in 2019, I took a major life change in my health and became a gym junkie. I am not the most fittest person, mainly because I enjoy a sweet treat and believe I deserve one at least every night. I also love running, I actually did my first 5k back in March and want to continue training to eventually do a half marathon.

I am the youngest of a family of four, my amazing parents, Romel & Diana Ramos, they have been married for almost 37 years. I have one older sister, Ashley and I couldn’t ask for a greater older sister. She has also blessed me with my brother-in-law Albert, who both are one of my favorite people in the world. I love being the baby in the family, and hopefully, God-willing God will bless my sister and bro-in-law with a new baby of the family.

I have one child, he’s a boy and has four legs. LOL. I love being asked if I have kids, because that is my answer exaclty and the face of confusion gets me every time. His name is Tuve, he will be 5 in April 2026. He is named after the G.O.A.T, Jose Altuve. He is a maltese/yorkie and he is someone I didn’t know I needed until I got him. He is literally my pride and joy, I legit gave birth to that boy. He is the sweetest boy, and I know every dog owner says that about their dogs, but he really is the best.

I like to say my Dad taught me pass interference and my Mom taught me Jesus. I owe the faith that I have in the Lord to my Mother. Every night when I was little, she’d lay in my bed and pray for me. God has brought amazing things to my life and I will be forever grateful. I’ve had highs and lows in my life and the only way I got through all of them was praying about it and having trust in God that He’d get me through them.

I have always believed in God and believe there was something higher to believe in, but I never understood the true meaning of believing in God until May of 2023. I grew up catholic, I went through the whole catholic beliefs, baptism, first communion, and confirmation. But I was always still left confused with who God was. In 2019, I started going to a non-denominational church and immediately felt a shift in my faith. In 2022, I was going through a lost transition in my life, I had just moved back to Houston from living in Dallas, I was unemployed and felt completely lost. I stepped into a new church in May of 2023 and as soon as the first song of worship started, tears immediately fell. I gave my life to God later that month. I started volunteering, I bought my first bible and from there my relationship with Jesus started. Since then, I believe that the way to live this life, is through Him, for Him, through His word, praising Him and only Him. I owe everything I have to my savior.

I’m really excited to chat with you guys and learn more about you. I hope when you read my blog, you reach out with any suggestions, any advice, or if you just want to chat. Thank you for also making it this far and reading all about me. Are you guys ready? LET’S DO THIS!
